The History of Blue Link ERP:
Mark Canes, President of Blue Link, started the company in 1992 after discovering the joys of software development while still working as a partner in a public accounting firm. As a CPA, Mark’s accounting background provides many benefits when working with customers, and this combined with his IT knowledge has allowed him to provide feedback for improving the software on an on-going basis.
Even with Mark’s experience and background, he still credits the company’s success to the people he has been able to work with – including both colleagues and customers. According to the man himself, “as important as technology has been in my career evolution, it’s consistently been the people who have added the most value on both professional and personal levels.” It is this type of mindset and the relationships that Blue Link as a whole has developed with customers that has made the company the success story it is today. As a perfect example, our first client is still with us today, enjoying regular upgrades to the system.
