Transforming Data, Connecting Business
As John Lennon said, Happy Christmas, another year over, and what have you done? As 2014 comes to a close it is time to reflect and look back at the year that was. It has been a busy and productive year here at Virtual Logistics and another year full of change and growth. This year we launched our 7 Questions Series. This thought leadership series was designed to bring together the knowledge of subject matter experts from around the world in four key areas – E-commerce, Logistics, EDI and Data. The first seven interviews in the Logistics series have been completed and the e-commerce series is well underway. EDI and Data are ready to start and the first interviews will be published in early 2015. So stay tuned, as we have some exciting things planned for 2015.
In 2014 VL welcomed on board a new marketing coordinator, Jessica Thiele and a technical project coordinator, Dave Truman. Both roles will over the long term serve to enhance our project delivery and corporate messaging. This month (December) we also launched our new website. A total overhaul of our old site was overdue and much needed. The new site has been designed to provide potential customers and customers with an easy to navigate source of data integration information and thought leadership related to Omnichannel commerce integration, Logistics integration, EDI and Data. So check it out and let us know what you think.
As we look back on 2014, we are very positive about the future. Integration is more and more complex and business is clearing thinking strategically about data. This is good news. You can follow our changes and developments on Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube as well as on our blog. We are continuing to actively use social media to connect with current and potential customers and are looking forward to doing some fun social things in 2015!
We at VL would like to wish all our customers, partners, suppliers and extended families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year!
