Since 2014, VL has actively tracked the evolution of Canadian ecommerce in the form of both infographics, and it’s been amazing to see how far Canadian businesses and consumers have come in such a relatively short time.
With Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, and the end of 2017 just around the corner, it’s time for an update!
What we’ve discovered is that the Canadian consumer has continued to grow, becoming more and more sophisticated in their demands from ecommerce businesses. Domestic businesses are responding, slowly but surely growing to meet those high expectations. What’s clear from our research is that, while Canadian business now truly understand that they need agile and scalable integration to inform a great consumer experience, but they are still struggling to achieve this.
